Together we become a team.

Happy Sunday.

I’m sorry I couldn’t write to you yesterday, as I wasn’t given the chance. The day went by quickly, especially as I stayed up late having a great time with my teammate. I couldn’t get enough of the night, so I made sure to enjoy every bit of it.

Last night, I was invited to another get-together with my old teammates. We all came together to have a wonderful time, and it felt so good to see everyone again. We shared an incredible moment—one that might have been our last. We chatted, laughed, and caught up on how everyone has been doing. It was truly awesome.

I’ve honestly lost count of the number of teams I’ve worked with. If there’s one thing I’m proud of, it’s the value I bring to a team. Show me what to do, and I’ll work to exceed your expectations. I don’t focus too much on how others do their jobs, even when it affects the bigger picture. Still, I always put my best foot forward. Tell me once, and I’ll get it done. Even when some take advantage of this, I remain true to who I am and committed to doing what’s best for the team.

This isn’t self-appraisal, but I’ve realised I’ve been well-loved in most of the organisations I’ve worked with. And truly, it’s better to be loved at work than not. I enjoy welcoming everyone with a smile—so much so that a colleague once nicknamed me “Smiley.”

I believe that when we approach work with the right mindset, we don’t just help organisations grow—we grow ourselves. Every team, every task, and every lesson shapes who we become.

So the question remains: what kind of teammate are you choosing to be?

Because in the end, success is never a solo journey. Your team needs you, just as much as you need them. Show up, give your best, and leave every place better than you found it.

Here’s to a cheerful and productive week ahead 🎉
