Together under this weather.
Did you remember the new phone I told you about a few days ago? Yeah?
Well, I got back from work today and told myself, I didn’t buy this phone to become a shelf king. Why keep it and not use it? I’d been too lazy to transfer my data because I assumed it would be a long, stressful process. I hardly change phones — in the last 10 years, this would be my third phone. I don’t like changing phones for any reason, which is why I always think long-term whenever I buy one.
Anyway, to cut the long story short, I asked ChatGPT how to transfer my data from the old phone to the new one. Apparently, it was a very simple process. I followed the steps exactly as they were laid out, and in a few minutes my 250GB of data began transferring. Since it was going to take hours, I took the opportunity to clean the entire house and do some laundry. Still transferring… so I jumped into the car, went shopping, came back home, had my dinner, and shortly after — everything had been transferred.
I went straight to WhatsApp only to realize I still needed to transfer my chats from the old phone to the new one. I thought it would automatically move, but no — silly me. My worry was that I no longer had access to the physical SIM, and retrieving it has been difficult. I have about 90% of my contacts on that SIM/WhatsApp. If I lost it, I lost you — and I wouldn’t want that. I cherish you, and I don’t want to lose you.
So I went back to ChatGPT again and explained my situation. I was given steps to follow, but somewhere along the line, I made an error. I suddenly lost access to my WhatsApp. My heart skipped for a few minutes — I was just frozen, thinking.
Then I looked closely and noticed an option: “Retrieve WhatsApp via Facebook.” I tried it, entered my details — and everything came back. Hippie! I was honestly so happy because I can’t afford to lose you. I feel like a tech bro now. Everything is back to normal.
I don’t want to lose you, and I’m sure the feeling is mutual. I intend writing on religion and how it’s killing us as a country, guess it’ll be another day.
Can I recite a poem for you? Yes? Yes?
If you remember this line — YOU ARE A LEGEND.
See ya tomorrow.
