December to remember.
Hiya!
If someone had told me a few hours ago I’d be writing to you, I would have looked them right in the face and screamed “Liar!” at the top of my voice. Nothing today prepared me for this. I just got back from work, plugged in my favourite headphone, and started listening to music (Spontaneous Jelenke Thanksgiving).
I honestly didn’t even realise when I started dancing — it was completely unplanned. Everything that happened tonight was unplanned. While listening to the music, I looked back on this year, and my heart leaped with joy. Not because it was a sweet year, but because through it all, God has been faithful. Many times my strength failed me, but in every one of my weaknesses, God became my strength. He held my hand even when I lost my faith in Him.
I just thought I should share that with you…
I’m formally welcoming you to my December blog. I titled this “December to Remember.” I’ll most likely gist about my day-to-day activities, lessons from each day, and whatever comes in between. I know I haven’t been writing like I used to—please forgive my inconsistency. But I promise I’ll try as much as possible to write to you every day this month.
It’s going to be a long and beautiful ride. Come with me—let’s make it a December to remember!
Oh! I almost forgot. I started a new job today, after being laid off randomly at my previous one. It was such a crazy experience. I’ll tell you about it as the days unfold… or I might not. Will you beat me if I don’t? It’s my blog, not yours! Hahahaha.
Ok bye!
Catch you tomorrow.
