Good health is underrated

 Welcome to my December blog

Day 14,

See ehn, let me be very honest with you, pure truth only.

If you’re reading this, take a few seconds to say. Thank you, Lord; if you’re a Muslim, say Alhamdullilah.

Good health is underrated.

I woke up perfectly ok like nothing was wrong with me, but I feel my sugar intake has been much recently; sweets, chocolate, milk, biscuits, chinchin, etcetera, etcetera.

So I decided to take medicine ( agbo jedi ) to reduce my sugar level; I nearly died. I’ve been spending at least a minute every hour today in the toilet — Blasting my intestines.

Going back and forth to the toilet made me realize that good health is underrated.

Today re-emphasized that: you wake up in the morning with no sickness, you can eat, you can sleep, you can go to work, you can move your leg, your eyes can see, you can hear— every part of your body is perfectly fine is a great privilege.

And yet we complain; how much more do those that pay for what we do freely? Go to the hospital, and we see thousands of people paying for what we’re taking for granted. Dey play, just dey play.

Anyways I’m better now. Just here thanking God and appreciating God for life.

To write and read this blog is a blessing.

Again: Say a word of Thank you to your creator.
