Give and take
Welcome to my December blog
Day 17,
My last two blogs have been super exciting, educational, and an eye-opener. The two genders are at each other’s throats, while I’m the middle man.
Let me share what irks me about some humans.
They’re the ones that take, take, and only take. They only care about receiving and would never think of giving. You often hear them say: I can’t give 'cause you’re doing better than me. Unfair. I won't even feign ignorance; they disgust me. They’re leeches, and it’s best to avoid them. They’ll not only drain you, but they’ll also guilt trip you for not always giving, they’ll demand what they can’t afford, and they don’t care whether you’re ok or not. They only want to receive. If you’re around people like that, find every means to abstain from them. These sets of people are the devil's spawn, do not entertain them.
Once I get a whiff that you’re a leech, I’ll avoid you at all costs.
Caveat: Giving does not have to be tangible. Honestly, I appreciate more intangible gifts because they’re always eternal. Talmbout advice, teachings, ideas, care, emotional support, etcetera, etcetera — I’ll value you more than anything if you give me these.
If you’re the type that loves to receive, please learn to give. If you’re a giver, don’t let anything or anyone stop you.
Every relationship should be built on Give and Take. If you’re not giving, you should not be demanding.
Ciao
