Don't quit

 Welcome to my December blog

Day 19,

Don’t Quit.

Yesterday, my emotions ran wild. I can't explain the cause fully, but I told my friend I'm quitting. I want to quit my thirty days blog on day eighteen; that would be a failure, right? Right!

The tweet I saw yesterday demoralized me; it pierced through my soul, and the only thought that enveloped me was to Quit.

Every creative person puts in so much work to be seen, valued, and appreciated. If the result is otherwise, it destroys the creative juice.

As creatives in any field, we must learn to put our best foot forward, regardless of the circumstances. It won't be easy, and it won't. But we have to keep our heads high.

After carefully looking at my blog stats yesterday, I wasn’t impressed; I felt shitty; I think people don’t fvck with my blog, so what’s the need to continue.

But I got a revelation after deep reflection: Do it for the right person, not the multitude. Numbers can be deceptive.

If I have just one reader, that’s enough. For that one reader, I won’t quit. Fvck numbers! I’m not Quitting.

Listen,

If thousands of reasons to Quit surround you, find one thing to keep you going. Let that one thing be your drive, and don’t look back.

Again: Everything you want exists — don’t quit.

I’m back…
